Ultimate DC outsider for President in 2008:
My dad. His resume?

* Four years, United States Navy. Electrician.
* Electrician in the private sector for the past thirty years.
* Cubmaster, 1985-86

Favors:

* Strictly held bed-times.
* Corporal punishment for lying.
* Reading at bed-time.
* Camping.
* Christmas observed regardless of financial situation.
* Balanced budget.
* Strong defense against bullies.

Opposes:

* Being a bully.
* Dogs peeing on the carpet.
* Noisy children.
* Schools who belittle their students.

My dad's pretty smart, but doesn't have a lot of (okay, any) government experience. But unlike CERTAIN people, my dad actually IS a millworker, so that has to count for something. And I think we can all agree with his position on dogs peeing on the carpet, so that's common ground with the Republicans. Besides, he can appoint a crack cabinet that (unlike the Chimp) he'll actually listen to.

And I'd probably be Secretary of State. So that kicks ass.

2. How tall is he?`
Gotta be sorta tall. Say, 6 feet or higher. And no facial hair.

4. 6'1"
And he shaved off his beard about ten years ago after wearing one for over twenty. So he should be good to go.
