Isn't the Swan basically like our own "Miss Plastic Surgery"?

2. Why aren't there EVER any black Swans?

I know that physiologically speaking, darker skinned people have a much higher chance of developing Keloids, or large raised scars...but SURELY there are black women who get plastic surgery and DON'T have keloids. They sure do a host of other hispanic/middle eastern/native american women on the show (in addition to the homogenous lilly whites as well).

Of course, had I three months to kill, I would LOVE to go on the swan. Not for the facial stuff---I think my face is fine. But hoodawgies...if I could get some free lipo, a boob lift, and all that jazz AND a personal trainer...for FREE....my ass would be signing up on the dotted line RIGHT NOW :)

3. No Black Swans Because

Black women have enough self-respect to stay away from stupid shows like this one.

5. Well I dont' necessarily think that going on the show

means that you have NO self respect....it's not exploitation if you allow them to do it.

Considering that millions of women applied to Swan 2, I'd have to take a bet that more than 0 of them were black. :eyes:

Again--I'd happily take the perky new boobs and tight, liposuctioned thighs, but fer fucks' sake...leave the face alone. That's, like, your soul, or something.

I always wonder how freaked out the little kids must be to see mommy as "mommy" one day and as "Completely new person I've never seen before" three months later. Surely...SURELY that must have just a wee bit of psychological impact on a kid under, say 7 years old, who doesnt' really have a sense of permanency...

Maybe, it is just my monitor picture but I don't think so. Their fairly uniform plastic surgery makes them all look like they are in their early thirties.

11. Didn't watch the show, but just checked out the website

Maybe, I have a little different standards of beauty then most people. I though that a couple of those women looked better in their before picture. A few of the others would have looked better with a decent hair and make up stylist. I didn't really like how most of them looked after the make overs and surgery.
