Does anyone else use the word 'ginormous' in conversation?
I guess that's the new fad word. I heard it was said on the "OC" a few weeks ago and I've heard it said elsewhere.

A few of my friends have used it.

Only in the English language do we find a need to combine two words and make another word.

4. It's a cross between
gigantic and enormous. So I'm guessing something really big or huge.

5. New? We used it in the 80s when valley talk was cool.
You know, "gnarly" "heinous" "wicked" "bitchin" "fanfuckingtastic"

And...

"ginormous"

I saw it on Dodgeball last night--brought back memories of a word that escaped my vocabulary about twenty years ago. :-)

18. I've been uisng it for years
Years and years. I think even in high school I was using it, and that was 20+ years ago. Seems my physics teacher liked that word, but I'm not sure.

But I know I've been using it for a long time.

Great word!

19. not new
I first heard it in 2000 and used it a few times in casual conversation. I think I'm too old to use it & be taken seriously anymore (mid 30s)
