Kids out enjoying a chilly evening singing with friends. I remember some fun times doing this. What, are you worried they are trying to indoctrinate you. I doubt that.
Just enjoy it. Too bad you don't have something warm ready to offer them.
I'm a doubter. But I dont doubt their good intentions.

5. My family would go caroling every year. |
|
We went for several years between my childhood and teen years. It was so much fun, although we were usually half-frozen by the evening's end.
We were lucky to have the four-part harmony well-represented and, I think, we sounded pretty good.
Most people would offer coffee, cookies, hot apple cider, etc...I guess it could be construed as begging for food. ;-) Anyway we got a wonderful response, especially from the elderly.
Later, after the majority of our older family members decided they couldn't take the cold, we would carol only at the local nursing home. People there really do appreciate visitors, especially during the holidays. I recommend to everyone to visit those places. You don't have to sing, just visit and chat. You'll make them happy, and you'll feel wonderful.
Happy Holidays, all!
