I hate Peggy Hill
I know she's just a cartoon character, but she's as arrogant for no reason as is Commander Bunnypants.

3. Look at it this way:
my mom was from Texas. When she saw the show she said that she actually knew people who were like the characters. Scary thought.

8. Peggy Hill ROCKS!
I love her. :) She doesn't take any shit from anyone, even her own son, who I watched her beat up earlier this evening on an episode, heh.

27. me too, I like Peggy Hill. Specially cuz there are so FEW female
characters with any personality. Not to mention the fact that she's an ordinary looking middle aged woman. (woo hoo! yay for us! weird, I don't feel middle aged. But I digress...) She's got OVARIES, baby! Yeahhhh!

I can't remember when the show comes on! Hardly ever watch TV, mostly just catch what Mr Fuzz is watching when he collapses in front of the tube at night.

29. that's how I felt about Lucy in Peanuts, when I was a kid.
Edited on Tue Dec-21-04 11:36 AM by FizzFuzz
First female character who had some personality and smarts. I took on her "crabby" face, wearing it as a talisman of strength. (I didn't feel very strong, things were rough back then, I needed all the help I could get! But I digress...)

Interesting that some people hate her character so much. What is it about a female with a strong will and some quirks that pisses people off so much? Every interesting character has to have their failings, it's what makes for a character that is more than two-dimensional. Most female characters are soooo poorly concieved, it's as if the writers can't imagine females as anything but eye-candy, or household drudge-mother. Wallpaper, either way.

She's far too independent and kind to be a freeper.

That's not a Freeper.

I love Peggy Hill. She's probably the most realistic female character on tv.

I mean, would you rather invite Peggy Hill or Grace over for dinner?

I know a person who fits into the persona of almost every character on King of the Hill.

That show is so factual it's scary!

For the record, my Peggy is a Dem. :)

28. What about Dale Dribble?
If he isn't a black helicopter type of freeper, I don't know what is.

"Yeah, I know the place. That's in Taxachusetts, ain't it? Say hello to Willie Horton for me, he's teaching at your kindergarten." DD

"Whoa, hold on, son. I want you to keep an open mind so you can make an informed decision. If you want, you can read a bloated government report on smoking, or go straight to the horse's mouth and get the facts from the tobacco industry." DD, again
