2. I think we'll
be able to add about 4 more to our belts by the end of this decade - Call me crazy, but I havent seen anybody work so well under pressure as Rothlessberger since Montana - and Rothlessberger is a _rookie_!

4. Better start looking for another All Pro Center
if you think a dynasty is in the making.

1) One of the main reasons Ben is so effective is he has an offensive line in front of him that can block for a change. This is the first season in the last seven where the offensive line came to the opening game prepared. In each of the last seven seasons, they looked like they couldn't block their way out of a paper bag until game 6 or so.

2) Until Hartings was picked up, the Steelers had only 3 starting centers, all of them Hall of Famers, over four decades! Hartings is good, but he is not the Mike Webster/Dermonti Dawson caliber, and he is on the tail end of his career.

12. My concern is...
at the corners. I've never really been comfortable with Chad Scott, who's currently out anyway. I'm happy that they resigned Willie Williams after letting him get away to the Seahawks for a couple of years. Townsend is decent as a nickle back, but he's no starter. The Steelers gotta draft a corner this off season.

Oh yeah... They gotta get Plaxico resigned too.

18. I doubt it
I think the emergence of Randle El is to prepare for Burress' departure. Although the have improved, they are still thrifty with the money, which is what always keeps it interesting.

6. See what a MAC QB can do for you?
Next 3 on deck:

Charlie Frye (Akron) - available this year
Bruce Gradkowski (Toledo) - available next year
Omar Jacobs (BGSU) - currently a sophomore

Add those to the MAC players already playing QB in the NFL, Big Ben, Pennington, Leftwich, Culpepper, Josh Harris (look for him to start in Cleveland soon), and Steeler's back-up, Charlie Batch, and I think there is a definite pattern here.

7. Gradkowski
Gradkowski's only a junior? I didn't realize that! Toledo's sure gonna kick some ass next year.

8. Stillers???
Stillers are SO overrated. They'll choke. Cowher knows no other way. And Roethlisberger's run of luck is just that.

I remember the last Stiller Super Bowl win ... about 25 years ago, right? No doubt the Yunzers have forgotten all their troubles, the bankrupt city, Giant Iggle's high prices, lousy roads and the fact there's not a hot woman within 200 miles of that near-abandoned, rusted 'burgh.

I really do miss my hometown.

about to play the Pats? "There's no way the Steelers can lose; the Pats are a fluke, blah blah blah." Keep gloating yourself all the way to tears in your beer in January

19. Stillers?
Hey, MikeG, do you listen to Mark Madden on 1250 ESPN Radio??? I wish I could hear his act over here by Philly. Pixburg has the best sports radio in the country outside NYC.

21. Hard to hear with the two Super Bowl rings in our ears
:)

You haven't won anything yet to gloat about.Come back and gloat after you guys win the Super Bowl (which the Steelers have a great chance of doing).Right now any gloating by anyone is foolish and premature.Just ask Eagles fans how the last few years have gone
