My thighs are killing me.
Edited on Tue Dec-21-04 10:34 AM by Rainbowreflect
I did an 45 minute kick boxing workout this morning.
I am afraid that if they are hurting already that tomorrow I will not be able to walk.
I'm too old for this.

1. But think of the payoff
You're getting all the muscles toned and stuff. Most people (me) can't even get motivated to start that in the first place! :yourock:

2. Wow, that's a long routine.
I gave up kickboxing because the workout video I bought was only 20 minutes. Maybe I should try doing it twice...

Hope you feel better tomorrow - just don't forget to keep doing it.

4. Find some arnica gel
Arnica does wonders for muscle soreness and strain. You can get it in gel or cream form at most healthfood stores, food co-ops, or other places that have alternative meds.

While you're at it, pick up some arnica homeopathic tablets. Dissolve 4-5 under your tongue before your next workout and you won't be half as sore afterwards.

I swear by this stuff, my friends use it, my husband uses it for pain and inflammation caused by repetitive motion, my grandma uses it on a bad knee and a sore back.

No funny smell. No stinging or other unpleasant side effects.

AND YOU ARE NOT TOO OLD, but then again, I've never tried kickboxing. :)

5. I think I should call it "kick-my-ass-boxing".
It is almost too much for this fat 41 year old, but I promised myself I would lose all my extra weight by the end of 2005.
I decided to get an early start on my New Years Resolutions.
I have been working out at least 6 days a week for the last 7 weeks. Mixing up weights, different types of aerobics & yoga.
