5. Two words will help clear your entire head, and keep it cleared.

Eat jalapenos, early and often. My favorite method is either raw or on pizza and in chilli. I have always found that something really spicy hot will clear the head right up.

An entire bottle of white wine at one sitting. If it doesn't do the trick, you won't care!

Serioulsy, my babysitter when I was a kid recommended this, and yes, she was from Germany. Apparently she did this every time she had a cold, and it did seem to clear the problems right up. I grew up in a veeerrry German town, and this seemed like a very popular remedy, but I think that's because some of these folks were a wee bit on the alcoholic side. But hey, give it a try, what could it hurt?

25. No, because I *wish* my ears were clear!

I can't sleep on my right side. My left ear is so full of fluid that I can hear and feel it bubbling if I sleep on my right side. If I sleep on my left side, it feels like the ear is draining, but it's not.

The doctor says there's nothing he can do. I don't have an ear infection. He suggested all manner of decongestants, and nothing works. I've had this problem for almost two years.

And, yes, I do have a cold right now on top of it. Splitting headache, sore throat, stuffy nose. Cranky. PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE let me feel better before my inlaws arrive for Christmas on Thursday.
