Going down in flames but loving it!
My single greatest personality fault is fearlessness. When faced with a bullying behavior, I look it in the eye and dare them to act.

I make $6.80 an hour, and have responsibility for a produce dept in a major grocery chain in Milwaukee...Today a soon to be VP of Rainbow Food in Minnesota asked me why a price was displayed with all the rest of the prices rather than 2 inches from the floor. I said because I thought "You'd have to be a midget to look there."

Well, I forgot he was a diminutive excessively adipose personality with a Napoleonic complex. He went ballistic, and leaning into my face he said, "If you ever do that again I'll fire you." I leaned back into his face until our noses were an inch apart and he turned beet red, then I said, "OK...(long pause while pressing into his face}...Sir."

I'll admit to having an exquisite negative personality flaw in this respect.

Faced with bullying behavior I am absolutely fearless, which isn't couragous (fearlessness invokes an ignorance of consequences, while courage requires action within an awareness of risk).

I know I am BAD but it felt SOOOOOO good!

Add my name to the unemployed tomorrow.

3. How many times have you lost a job because of this?
I tend to suffer from the same stress-induced fearlessness, but have never taken it that far.

5. I think many times, although at the time I wouldn't have said that
Life is so much easier to understand in retrospect.

6. Hey - sometimes it's a trait that serves a person well
In 9th grade, the school bully told me she was going to beat me up after school. That adrenaline - or whatever - kicked in, I stood up straight, shrugged my shoulders, and said: "Why wait? If you want to hit me, hit me now. I'm not wasting my time after school just to get beaten up!" I think this totally confused her, and she never followed through. ;)

7. Well it is Pick'N Save but I don't expect support.
I had to laugh about worrying about this issue affecting $180 of product while $1000 of Asparagus was spoiling in the cooler.

Middle managers seem incapable of looking beyond the obvious. Yes, I spent over an hour moving displays of apples back and forth while my real concern, $1000 of asparagus went completely unnoticed by management.

I love how their shoot from the hip at the easiest target gets attention while the profits go into the compactor.

the world is full of chicken shits and it isn't pacifists ,who for my 2 cents are some of the bravest people on earth. The bullys are the cowards afraid to face thier crap.
You were right ! the damned prices 2 inches above the floor suck and even if the boss goober was 1 foot tall he knows it but is afraid to mention it to his boss goober who is in turn a chicken shit because he is too scared of his boss who would probably say "here since 1628 was right you bozos " Thats why it's called a pecking order....chicken shits.
