Poll question: Gift Wrapping Tape
Which do you prefer? The "invisible" (Magic brand, matte surface) tape, or the traditional (shiny surface) tape?

As a long-time gift wrapper, I've discovered that the old-fashioned traditional shiny tape works best. It's stronger, it sticks better to shiny foil-coated wrapping paper, and it's not as brittle as the "Magic" tape. It's got more tensile strength and it doesn't tear or split as easily.

The other benefit is that because it's shiny, I can easily SEE where I've already taped without having to aim and carefully focus my bifocals on the seam.
