2. Sure, self medication works. Medication does not have to include
prescriptions only.

3. You mean that Yankees sports network?
Do they really show stuff on the Yankees 24/7, 365 days a year? Because that's kind of freaky gimpy.

:freak:

4. Me...
.... I take a low dose of a well-known (but poorly understood) mineral that prevents lots of unpleasantness. I said lots, not all :)

6. Just say yes!
Paroxetine, famotidine, and nortriptyline daily; Ativan sometimes; Canadian Tylenol for headaches and such; and viscous lidocaine for mouth pain.

That isn't much compared to a few years ago, when my daily meds were fluoxetine, bupropion, then a BIG dose of Compazine, followed by some other anti-nausea stuff (the name escapes me), amifostine, heparin, morphine, fentanyl, and Saligen.

12. Tylenol with codeine and caffeine
It's sold without prescription in Canada, and it's the best migraine medicine I've ever had. (Does jack-all for cramps though.)

13. Does it have a lot of codine in it?
You can't get anything with a narcotic in it in this country without a script. And it almost impossible to get a script too.

14. Not much
Something like 5 mg, I think. Less than prescription Tylenol-3.

I think the US attitude toward opiate and opioid painkillers is silly; there's a presumption that everyone who takes them will get addicted, and that just isn't so. I took pure morphine for many months, did not become addicted, and had no untoward effects when I went off of it. But doctors *still* look at me with suspicion when I request short-term Percoset prescriptions for mouth pain.

15. I wouldn't want to take that much tylenol for that little amt. of codine.
I really shouldn't take any tylenol at all.

7. Effexor ER......
I only need it to help me make it through the Christmas Holidays without becoming a basket case.

Some years I use Prozac - It just depends what health plan I'm on at the time. :-)
