Who would you choose for Kennedy Center Honors?

Naturally, I couldn't resist watching the Kennedy Center Honors, particularly for Ossie Davis, Ruby Dee and Joan Sutherland. It's worth it, even if that dreadful Bush thing is lurking in the balcony.

But I got to thiking about future Kennedy Center Honors and who I'd love to see. Here are my future choices:

Meryl Streep (succeeds on stage, film, TV, and has her political causes)

Garrison Keillor (Hard to classify, but a national treasure and an eloquent voice for the lot of us)

Bruce Springsteen (His turn is coming)
