2. It's a comic-book-to-big-screen adaptation of a Frank Miller series

Remember Robocop III?

Frank Miller had nothing to do with it

10. Oh god.
I'm with you, except for the presence of Jessica "Not-Even-Just-A-Pretty-Face" Alba. I thought I was done with this no-talent cow when her crapass show was cancelled but somehow she lives to stink another day. Lawd.

Brittany Murphy was funky and cool before she got it into her head that she needed to be yet another bland, pencil-thin bottle blonde Hollywood bimbette. I hope there's plenty of sandwiches in craft services.

But ooh, Dirty Nick Stahl. :loveya: He alone has me sold on this. I'll admit to being completely shallow about it, too. FFS, I actually paid money to go see Cheaper By the Dozen solely because Tom "I'm Just a Pretty Face in a Very Slashy Show" Welling was in it.

Besides that? I got nothin'.

8. I'm not crazy about some of the visuals, especially...
...Mickey Rourke's makeup, but the music is really hot, and Nick Stahl's Yellow Bastard character looks great with that menacing knife.

I've never read the comics, but I hear they are top tier.

So, I approve. I can't wait to see it in theaters.

12. There is a large file that came out of comicon
floating on the net. It's about 24MB and has more footage.

13. I've always been a Mickey Roarke fan.
I'd see it just because he has a role in it.
