30. I love her! One of the few country artists I really enjoy.
The soundtrack is great -- I especially like You Are My Sunshine. Probably because it was my favorite as a little girl. :-)

23. The three main characters performed their parts flawlessly
in this movie as far as I'm concerned. They also had a superb script to work with.

This is definitely one eof my favorite movies of the past 5 years or so if not the past 50 :).

"Well Pete, I figured it should be the one with the capacity for abstract thought. But if that ain't the consensus view, then hell, let's put it to a vote."

"Suits me. I'm voting for yours truly. "

"Well I'm voting for yours truly too."

<Everett and Pete look at Delmar for the deciding vote>

Well ain't it a small world, spiritually
speakin'! Pete and Delmar just been
baptized and saved! I guess I'm the only
one here who remains unaffiliated!

Loved that movie, loved the soundtrack, even though the mainstream country stations wouldn't give it any airplay. At the height of the CD's initial popularity, I would call in a request for something off of the soundtrack, and the local Clear Channel response was "We can't play that" Never figured out why.
