Martha Stewart: "Prison food is bad"
"(CNN/Money) - Martha Stewart, who is nearly halfway done with a five-month prison sentence, delivered a holiday greeting Wednesday from her minimum-security camp in West Virginia.

In a note to fans posted on her personal Web site, Stewart, 63, said she is doing "fine" and spending her idle time exercising, thinking about the future, writing and trying "to not eat the bad food." She didn't elaborate what about prison cuisine she finds particularly distasteful."

I'm sure the prison showers are even worse... :nopity:

4. Why is Martha a piece of shit? She didn't do anything wrong. She was run
up the flagpole as a "wag the democratic chick" distraction by the bush regime.

She's a good woman with virtues, a brilliant company and good ethics.

8. yes, radwriter
If you hadn't said that, I would have.

Kenny Boy Lay's still walking around and Martha's almost done with her sentence. Something's not right here.

Here's to Martha:

:toast:

May she be out of jail soon!

11. I'll give her the fact that she's a Democrat....
but she's really NOT the saint you're making her out to be. She can be very tyrannical, mean and petty.

I mean, I read her magazines because I enjoy them and they have lots of great recipes and tips, but she's taken credit for many others' ideas, driven her husband away with her snottiness, and pissed off a lot of people. Let's just be objective here is all I'm saying.

Check out the book "Just Desserts" if you haven't yet.

9. How many grandmas did she financially ruin?
And the comment about the food was an off-the-cuff remark that was supposed to be slightly humorous on her part to show that she is keeping her spirits during this time.

Funny thing is, I bet after her appeals, it will be shown that she didn't have to go to jail and thus will be able to sue for wrongful incarceration.

14. I don't know. HOW many grandmas DID she financially ruin?
You tell us. There seems to be an accusation in your hyperbole there.

She was convicted of lying to federal agents. They couldn't charge her with a crime, so they made some shit up. IMHO anyway.

12. Why isn't Kenny Lay in prison, then?
And what about *? He did the same thing with Harken Energy that Mmartha was convicted of doing.
