Moving from an Office to a Cube...

As my office is "consolidating". Well...at least I have a job I guess. I sure am gonna miss watching the lovely ladies stroll across the parking lot. Oh well...here's to 2005.

I'm lucky to have a job, but damn, I loved having an office. I could play on DU all day. :D

3. My first office

This job that I've been at for 4 months, now, is the first job where I've had an office. I've always been in a cube farm, and usually one with low walls. Never any privacy. I felt totally exposed.

It is very niiiiiice to be able to sit in my office and close my door. :D I have an office mate, but she leaves at noon, so I have the place to myself in the afternoons.

I feel for you Jack. Now that I've tasted an office, I don't think I could go back to a cube.

Sorry about your move.

Since I work at at IT firm, I dare not DU during the day. I'm sure they record our keystrokes.

There is an unsubstantiated rumor that we might move in the spring... and if we do, it would be back to cubeville. But I haven't heard any more about it. Neither have my managers.
