1. The current process is (a) unstable and (b) inaccurate in description
It can clone the countenance, but not the personality.

Little Friskies ]< there might be much less of a cuddly pussy than the original. Indeed, Friskies >[ might be a real persnickety prick, making the owners want to get rid of their newfound abomination.

2. Yes, I'd have one of them cloned. The other three? Probably not.

5. Hell no!
I can barely handle the hyperactive insane furball I've got! More than one and they would just tag team me. :scared:

6. No way
I love my cats but I need a variety of cat personalities to be truly happy. The current personalities are -

Mama(f) - ex-feral, scrappy, tiny little black and white mother cat.

Lily(f) - ex-feral, chubby, dim and friendly black and white cat - one of Mama's kittens.

Gypsy(f) - ex-feral, nervous, vocal, tuxedo cat - another of Mama's babies.

Peanut(m) - our first rescued cat, orange, spunky, manipulative.

Buddy(m) - the 'Jock' - Big, orange/white, cranky, friendly, quirky.

7. My cat was an annoying, incontinent, unfriendly, weird animal.
But maybe if I had the right cat, I'd do it.

8. Hell no.
Face it: cats are cats. Yes, I realize that everyone here has a "special" cat that is like no other. Fine. The fact is that you'd be doing the world a great service by adopting a new kitty to replace the one who decided to take a dirt-nap, instead of wasting your money to clone little Mr Whiskers.

Cloning a pet (or a son/daughter, for that matter) is the height of meaningless self-indulgence.
