Is a neurologist qualified for this? |
|
I'm going back for the EEG on Tuesday, but I've also noticed some joint stiffness and pain in my left hand, along with some overall weakness in my left arm. I know I've a protruded disc that's pinching some nerves, but could more be going on? And if so, is he the guy?
(and do those ground down shark genitals that they peddle as cartilage improving pills truly work?)
P.S. The spell checker thought 'disc' was 'disco'.

1. Doesn't have to be anything more going on than nerve pinching |
|
caused by the disc problem.
I have degeneration in three of my cervical discs, and last year I had tingling, numbness, itching, intention tremor and more all down my left arm into the fingers.
Physical therapy helped take the symptoms away...but not the problem. That would require surgery...and I'd have to be a Whole Helluva Lot Worse to let anyone operate on my neck!
I wish you luck.

2. Yep sounds like a classic pinched nerves in the neck thing... |
|
hurts horrible, doesn't it? I'm sorry....
I hope they can alleviate the protruding disc.
I suggest a long, hard look into activator chiropractic before succombing to the knife.

4. I had a chiro a couple of years ago... |
|
and he went overzealous one day and as a result I was in pain. The neuro had said that the popped disc had been out for some time.
I'll let him decide what to do. He's by far the most competent doctor I've seen for some time.

And yes again, many people have success with glucosamine and chondroitin and some don't.
