1. Who's calling bush a liberal?
I'd like a quote of that. (Maybe I've been out of the loop on this one.)

See, I have a different philosophy. I'm a compassionate conservative. I think government ought to help people realize their dreams, not tell them how to live their lives.

4. That's just insane, but here you go.
:snip:

He called Kerry the most liberal of all U.S. senators and said once again, “he can run but he cannot hide.”

Bush described his own beliefs this way: “I don’t believe government should be indifferent. I’m a compassionate conservative. I believe government should improve your lives, not run them.”

:snip:

7. Bush also got Texas taxpayers to pay for his stadium
I guess he belived all should pitch in for baseball and it was for the public good? It must be an Enron type thing.

8. There's one or more quotes from his debate with Gore in 2000
where he refers to himself as a "compassionate conservative", NOT a "passionate conservative".

"Passionate conservative" would be meaningless.

"Compassionate conservate" means something - that he's not only using an oxymoron, but that he's a blatant liar.
