I hate it when you work really hard to help someone out, make something good happen, and everyone throws road blocks in your way.
I just wanted to make sure this client got her money in time for Christmas, but the powers that be want to screw everything up.
I have not given up yet. Time for another begging phone call.

It's nice to know someone is fighting for the people. Where I work, we have a few professional "can't do" people who evidently enjoy having the power to mess up people's lives. A bunch of Scrooges.

I received a call that they finally agreed to release her money today.
I called her, she thanked me & cried. Then I cried.
She and her kids may have a happy holiday after all.
Days like today make it all worth while.
