3. When I was a child

My mother would tell me to leave my belly button alone because if I wasn't careful, I would untie it and my skin would fall off.

I still have a thing about my belly button. Thanks, mom! :shrug:

9. I had nightmares about it

She was a wonderful woman (gone now) but she came out with some strange stuff. She'd get so mad at all us kids (there were six of us) and she'd holler, "I'm gonna murder you!" which even in the 60's wasn't really all that PC. She never laid a hand on any of us but I still get a chuckle out of that. Of course, none of us took her seriously....
