If your're like many people living paycheck to paycheck, you don't get paid until Xmas Eve and most of the food will be gone and the stores closed anyhow...

Whatever is on hand, I suppose...

12. Fish, Pasta
We don't eat meat on Christmas eve in my family, some old Italian tradition.

We do eat ham and/or pork on Christmas Day.

So the main course is fish and pasta along with all the other fixings.

23. "dead" green beans?
That sounds like a good dinner! But, aren't green beans always dead from cooking anyway when you eat them?

I mean, I've never heard of anyone eating them raw, when they'd still be living tissue with viable seeds inside.

45. A Waffle House omlette.
My parents are going out of town and my brother will probably go to his wife's family or her son's father's place.

I am all alone (except for my cats). But I really don't care. I will be able to sleep late, stay in my pajamas most of the day and read a good book with out interruption.
