Uncle Bud, sent it to me. It was HIS Uncle's who was a soldier during WWI! Apparently he was gassed to death and willed this to my uncle. Never knew about him.
1917. Bamboo. No reel but i will look for a vintage one in the coming days. (any help with this would be appreciated)

1935 hunting license rolled up and tucked into a hole under the butt plate on the reciever. I took the butt plate off when I refinished the stock. The license is now in my Book of Remembrance.
