Gmail and Mac OS9 *grr*

So I am at home on Christmas break, and for some reason our cable modem hates my OSX laptop. I am stuck using an ancient imac, and I can't check my gmail!! Gmail claims to work with IE on os9 if you enable activeX controls, but I did that and it still doesn't work. Has anyone figured out a way to get gmail to work on os9? I am getting paypal money for t-shirts, and I bet people are emailing my gmail account.

I don't know if I will be able to check back at DU that often because of Christmas stuff, so if anyone has advice, can you email me at moonunit426 AT aol.com
