7. Avril is cute and entertaining...
..but, IMO, isn't a poet. She doesn't approach Dylan land.

As for mainstream girl power pop, I have a new affection for Kelly Clarkson. If you're looking for cute and entertaining, Clarkson's music has become very diverse, ranging from R&B, country flavored, and Lavigne territory with her new song, Since You've Been Gone.
