What Christmas traditions do you personally have to do each year?

I have 3 things:

1.) Watch "A Christmas Carol". (The 1951 version with Alistair Sim)
2.) Watch the "Nutcracker Ballet"
3.) Eat one of those small square fruit cakes with cool whip. (Not necessarily at one sitting)

2. a la the Schmenges...

The traditional Lutonian customs of putting the men's felt hat on the Christmas tree, and the men exchanging their socks (to symbolize the sharing of worldly goods) after shooing the women out of the room.

8. I could do the felt hat....

but I don't know if I would want to change socks with some guy. (Of course it depends on the guy ;) . I have petite 14D feet, so I would have to find another guy with big feet.)

3. None - Have Not Done Christmas In Years - Much Lower Stress

It will all be over in 2 days.

Then back to normal.

1. Donate time &/or money to charity.

2. Send cards to family & friends I won't see.

3. Trim the tree.

4. Go for a drive on Christmas Eve to look at lights.

Until it's all over. Not fall down drunk, just enough of a buzz to ease on through.
