My dream holiday feast in pictures
The first course would be a nice vegetable lasagna:

Buttered french rolls:

eggplant parmigiana:

stuffed bell peppers:

If you must have some meat, have some Italian baked fish:

Finished off with a nice Greek salad:

(To answer your questions: yes, I am Italian...at least 25% of me is, although I have gone to the Olive Garden once or twice, which might have revoked my priveleges. No, I'm not a vegetarian, I just don't like meat that much). :)

Dessert would look a little like this:

Kolackies (divine Polish cookie/pastries):

Any of the suitably fattening varieties of cheesecake:

Mmmm, something chocolate...yeah, how 'bout truffles?:

And for kicks, a slice of my aunt's famous pecan pie:

And I'm full.

Anybody else?

2. Yum!
especially the lasagna and parmesian. I would, for my feast, have saag pinar (curried creamed spinach with cheese curds), baba ganoush (smoked eggplant dip), hummous, and dolma. If I had meat, how about gyros or tandoori chicken? Dates for dessert, and not many of them, alas, because of blood sugar problems.

5. Mmm...gyros.....
Everything on your menu sounds excellent. Stink on the Atkins diet...I'll take Mediterranean any day.

6. LOL, and I almost forgot the key lime pie!

And I know real key lime pie isn't green. I don't care. Mine is.

8. Well, it's in fantasy-land, to tell the truth
This year's Christmas is going to be a little less bountiful than all that, just the typical turkey'n'dressing stuff. Oh well, it's much better than nothing. :)

Maybe next year, though...

12. Come visit my imagination ;)
It's a pretty cool place.

Besides perfect holiday feasts, in my imagination there is no war or poverty, and free puppies for everyone. Oh, and we also have unicorns.
