2. Oh I do!
Way back before there were vcr's, I used to tell people that someday, I wanted to own the movie "Camelot." I was such a King Arthur fan, for many years. Richard Harris is "to die for," Vanessa Redgrave was the perfect Gwenivere, Franco Nero as Lancelot, that fabulous music and scenery... "It's MAY! It's MAY! The lusty month of May..." "Camelot! Camelot! From far of France I hear you call..." "If ever I would leave you... No, never would I leave you, at all"

Thanks for the memeory. I haven't watched it in a long long time, maybe I'll put it out this weekend.

6. Oh you're so lucky!
I adored Richard Harris - the Irish rogue that he was with that little twinkle in his eye! That voice! That accent! Oh, those just-past-adolescent fantasies!

3. Did you see the Showtime or HBO version in the eighties?
I can't remember when they filmed it, but it was the musical, not movie special done especially for one of the two networks. Richard Harris was in it. I recorded it and watched it over and over, but somewhere along the way, I lost the tape. When Richard Harris died, I remembered that I had taped that.

11. I'll watch it all night if you let me.
I like the story, the songs, and the way it works on the imagination.

Given a choice, I'd take Marion Zimmer Bradley's terrific re-telling of the Arthurian legend.

Anything in that neck of the woods, and I'm hooked.
