I'm in Decatur, Illinois...Don't Ask Me Anything!
Because, well, I just don't feel like answering any questions.

And I posted this simply because I'm an attention whore and I realize it! :-)

I'm with my family for a couple of days...until Sunday. It's still sort of strange spending the holidays...without my dad.

I hope your holidays are full of love and joy with your family and friends.

1. Is that giant-assed used book store still there?
That was the only thing I ever liked about Decatur.

2. Nope. I liked it, too.
Sadly, not. :-(

3. I hope that the water
there tastes better than it did 40 years ago. I used to visit my great-great uncle who lived there and could never stand the taste of the water.

5. Oddly enough, it tastes ok now.
The smell from A.E. Staley's is still nothing to write home about, though.

Any tips on what roads to avoid? What are the roads looking like down there? I'm toying with the idea of going through Tennessee

6. The roads are ok.
The interstates are clear. I-57 (which would take you from Urbana...well, Champaign....to Memphis) is clear.

Go for it. :-)

9. Hold on a sec.....
Your going from Illinois to Pittsburgh by way of Tennessee? Isn't that a bit out of the way?
