2. You're never too young to go deaf. |
|
Which is why younger professional musicians have learned from their elders and are using ear protection on stage.

6. I take a perverse pleasure... |

...in thinking of their future whenever I'm passed by the driver and passengers of a vehicle wired for as much sound as your average stadium.

turn it down, 'cause I'm too old to get up and go all the way over there and do it myself. :7

a nice home in the middle of 5 acres where i could really enjoy my stereo. or better yet, one of those 44 million dollar triplex penthouses on the top of a new york skyscraper.
i got some huge, kick ass speakers, four of them.
however, i live in an apartment with people on the other side of the wall. i try to keep it down because i don't want them to blast me out. it is called common courtesy. (which they strangely lack, but it doesn't mean i am going to become one of them.)
especially with the technology of speakers, the bass can literally shake your walls. and i like heavy bass.
but ruining other peoples life with it is not cool.
