What are the "essentials" you always keep in your fridge?
For me, it's the half 'n' half, water, assorted veggies, and condiments.

What about you? What are the essentials in your fridge?

:hi:

10. Potato chips and worcestershire sauce don't require refrigeration.
Ditto for Doritos.

Save the room in the fridge for something that does.

;-)

11. Gin, olives, half & half, cheese, bacon, eggs, scallions, beef broth,
chicken broth, vegetable broth, assorted veggies (pretty much always cucumbers, radishes, and some kind of pepper (except green, which are of the Devil Himself)), orange juice, salad dressing, and a jar of minced garlic (yeah, I know - I only use it in an emergency, or for early breakfast foods, like omelettes, when I'm not in the mood to mince)

Those are basically the essential, necessary, have-to-be-in-Rabrrrrrr's-fridge items.

15. To save room, always place the gin in the freezer.
It never freezes...and it always stays at the perfect temperature for martinis!

16. No, freezing is too cold - it kills the bouquet of the gin
Some people think that the colder the better, but that is only true to a point - a martini right around the freezing point of water is what you want; not much below that. Otherwise, much of the subtly of the gin is lost.

I've done experiments, and there is indeed a major difference between tasting all of the wondrousness of Sapphire, and having Sapphire from the freezer.

14. Ketchup
Remember this Far side cartoon?:
A bunch of vultures gathered around a carcass and one comments. "Wow this one has been here a loooong time! Thank god for ketchup!!"

Gain control of the ketchup supply America to it's knees.
