1. A couple of pathetic things about this blog.
The writer sounds intelligent, more so than your usual freeper, but such a contrast to how I think and believe. Truly scary! :scared:

3. What I didn't like
was what I feel was a made up excuse for not being able to find the guns. No way is Wal-Mart listening to liberals when it comes to stocking guns-toy or otherwise. The main reason toy guns like the poster described are hard to find is simply that they are not that popular anymore. There are no Westerns on network TV that I know of; the only place you might catch them would be some nostalgia cable channel. No, what this piece shows is just another way the right wing likes to slam liberals-blaming them for something they did not cause. And what's all this about France? Yet another whipping boy for the rw, trying to plant false notions into people's heads.

7. I avoid toy guns.
I can tolerate squirt guns in the Summer. That's about it. I'm told I'm too uptight regarding this issue by their father because after all they make ones with Legos, etc. anyway. I don't care. It's still not something I want to encourage.

9. I felt the same way
my boys are in their 20s now. I didn't make a big deal out of them, but I just didn't buy them guns.

But I sure find cowboy pistols a lot less 'dangerous' than some of these realistic assault weapon toy guns.

12. Nutty political leanings aside...
it's not a bad little tale.

Every kid needs a toy gun, or better yet a BB gun. How else they gonna defend the homestead from Black Bart?

Sorry to disappoint this guy though. The reason you can't buy a decent toy gun at wal fart, toy r us, k mart etc is not because of some dirty rotten, no good, French lovin' librul plot, it's because those stores sell CRAP! Of course he had to go to a small hobby store and pay through the nose. That is what you have to do to get ANYTHING decent these days. And while I'm ranting here, if he and people like him didn't shop at wal mart there would be a lot more of those little shops that sell good stuff around. Ok, I'll shut up now.

Merry Christmas All, don't shoot your eyes out!
