Poll question: Should nudity be banned from artwork or other historical references?
You know, from statues of David and that chick with big boobs that John Ashcroft didn't like that were created by middle-age people (who are now mostly forgotten fossils), to re-enacting ancient Greek events, complete with authentic non-sexual nudity, the right wingnuts are showing that art and creativity is a big no-no in their pastuerized, homogenized, by-the-numbers dictatorship dream of a world.

1. If God made us in His image
and that image is the human body, why is there any reason any part of it needs to be hidden, or that we should be ashamed of? (Works on my Fundy friends, anyway...)
That stature of David is very special to me. My husband looked like him when we first met a looooong time ago.
