The answer is yes.

The car existed before 9/11 as did my parents' marriage. No reason to alter our entire existence.

8. My ex husband's birthday
is 9/11, and this past 9/11 my son got his first car. We were joking that we'd always remember the day he got his first car, and how freepers would be upset if they knew people were living their lives and laughing on 9/11.
