My two new kittens.....
Two weeks ago I had to have my last of 3 cats put to sleep. I had had this one for 18 years. At the same time my son moved out and into his own apartmentin Seattle. The house was so empty that I went out and adopted these two. Just wanted to share this with the cat lovers at DU.

4. Cute together
And I, as the owner of a 15-year old tabby, feel that tug too and the pain of your loss. Even though I've had her for only two years, I can't imagine not having her around and the emptiness of that.

Do they have names, are they the same sex, or both sexes? Have they started climbing and pulling on the ornaments yet? (I've heard they do that, but my kitty has pretty well mellowed out being so old-she just looks at them for a while and sleeps under the tree).

8. Nothing like cute pets
to fill up an empty house. Our last son went off to school this last August. Our pets have filled in the empty places. Those are two really cute kitties! I love the markings on the white ones head, they look like eyebrows. I am sorry about losing your last 3 cats. It is always so hard but new ones always manage to fill the empty place they leave in your heart.

11. There's a couple of lucky kits to have found a good home.
And your lucky to have baby kits in the house.

Interesting markings on the head of the white one.

15. Both are so cute --
The white ones has markings similar to Japanese Bobtail Cats.

I have an elderly black cat (barn cat, found abandoned at 10 days old) and a mostly white with red markings Japanese Bobtail cat.

And then I have a dog who adores all cats -- she can make friends with the meanest cats in the neighborhood.

You know of course being the servant to 3 cats that they more than one plots against us.

Cats consider humans as inferior beings -- our black cat has determined that my husband and I cannot find our way to the bathroom and so his job is to lead us there, supervise and then lead us back to bed.

Meanwhile dog stays in bed, under the covers.

16. Awww...such sweeties! I wanna see more pics
when you have the time to post more. :-)

I lost my beloved kitty of 15 years, Peewee, last year, and even with his old buddy Miro around the house, it was just too quiet for the two of us. I got Oberon in late August, and Puck for Christmas. Now I can't imagine life without them!

Merry Christmas to you and your sweet new fur kids! :hi:
