Merry Christmas from Rapid Rotor Rooter
They are so rapid that they cannot fix my hot water heater until Tuesday, everyone is closed today. On the positive side, he said the water heater won't explode or gush water, just turn it off, When I want hot water for showers turn the heater on, expect it to leak, but I can get hot water if I want. Thank goodness I have a huge supply of old towels to soak up the water in the garage. Things could be worse, I could have no water at all or sewage water like those in Iraq. So, we will be okay.

We are so spoiled with the everyday conveniences like water and electricity, when we lose one of them life is difficult. This just makes me appreciate what I have today and feel upset with myself that I was upset with the heater breaking. All I could think of was -- I bet the people in Iraq would love to have at least clean cold water and the option to at least have hot water for a short period. I have the enjoyment of having a filtering system in my house for pure water too that was bought rather then buying new furniture for the house.

1. It's good to appreciate what we have
every year, our water freezes when it gets really cold, as it did yesterday. We keep jugs of water to use when this happens, and heat water on our wood stove. I hate having to wash my hair in the sink, because I don't feel I ever get the soap all out and tipping my head that way does a number on my inner ear. But, like you, I think of people who don't have any water or even a house and I count my blessings.
