Yay, I'm at my folks' house!
On my drive through IN and OH I saw two dozen vehicles that had either crashed or gotten stuck! A bit icey but not that bad a drive.

2. Congrats!
Yesterday in SE Michigan it took me 2 hours to go 30 miles to work, and I heard it was even worse down there. So I am happy you made it safely! Did you have trouble un-gripping the steering wheel?!

4. You are a true man for not being among them!
Hopefully I can do the same.

You know, one of the worst ways to insult a Canadian is to infer that he/she cannot drive in snow.

5. Here is the key
If you are on ice steer gently and don't brake or gas hard. Be gentle. Give yourself plenty of space and don't be afraid to go a little slower. The Speed limit is not a required minimum, especially in snow.

7. glad you made it!
I hate those icy roads.

This is only the second time in 20 years I haven't traveled anywhere for Christmas. Kind of nice, especially since we are in a deep freeze. A little quiet, though.
