I got a load of books that I haven't go around to reading yet in my room and I want to get around to reading some of them. Which should be first?

You should pick parts of 2 Nephi. It gets very slow.
The Bhagavad Gita is great.

It has held up quite well, considering how long ago it was written. Just don't be reading it if you're depressed. I once reread it during a down period in my life -- big mistake -- I was ready to commit suicide by the end.
That's one movie that screams to be remade.
