It's snowing right now... IN SOUTH TEXAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's snowing in my hometown right now... I live in solid blue Duval County, 2 and a half hours south of San Antonio, halfway between Corpus Christi and Laredo... It hasn't snowed here since 1967- my parents were in High School! It has never, in the lifetimes of our various townspeople, snowed on Christmas! It's like a dream!

Peace,

Of good things to come, I mean. Like Bush being kicked out or something like that.

... there have been car accidents in several towns throughout the South Texas/Coastal Bend area. Most of us have never driven in snow... most days of the year, it's like living in the Devil's Hell hole.

Peace,

21. Enjoy it while it lasts!
I remember in college, in southeast Ohio, that the QB of the football team, who was from TX, was entranced by the snow. There were a lot of students from New England at the school, and we were all entranced by his reaction. . . oh, no, wait, we were entranced by his phenomenal body. . .

but there's a bit of snow left over from a few days ago - I am desperately hoping I'll see that snow tomorrow because it will be the first time I've seen snow in Texas in the 29 years I have been here.

29. Syncronicity...
Well, not really.

I watched "The Year Without Santa" for the first time in about 20 years last night (I think that's what it's called - the one with the two Miser brothers). And lo and behold, it snowed down in Dixie.

Want me to buy the tape for next year?

32. WE GOT SNOW IN PEARLAND
It snowed for a little over 2 hours (at least) last night. We lost power for an hour because somebody hit a pole and the line had to be re-routed (People, admit it, we can't drive on frozen anything here!!), but other than that, all smooth. 11 year old is going out to play in it again...he was out in last night, catching snow on his tongue.
