Merry Day After Christmas!

1. Not the most wonderful time of year ,for me !

I hate to admit it ,however Iam a scrooge at X-Mas time .I hide this feeling for the most part because I have a 10 year old girl and an 8 year old boy .Whom by the way wanted cell phones for X-Mas ,I spend most of the holiday shopping season trying to stop my wife from emptying our bank account. I have to work 6-7 day weeks 10 hour days ,only to see all of the extra money go for presents. So hopfully you can understand why I do not look foward to Christmas. I truely believe we have to get back to the true meaning of Christmas , it should be more like Thanksgiving ,a time to get together with family and friends and be thankful for what we have been blessed with. All of this obsessing over stuff is really sad ,considering we are cellebrating the B-Day of someone who spent his life telling others that greed for earthy goods while others around you are suffering , is not what a good person should stand for. Imagine if we all got together and used the $ we where going to spend for X-Mas ,on feeding and housing the homeless and those who would be happy ,just to have a decent meal !
