36. No green bean casserole (that was Thanksgiving).
What I did get was homemade linguine, rib roast, braised aparagus, sweet crispelli, savory crispelli with anchovies, panforte, panettone, coconut meringue cookies, chocolate chip cookies, asti spumante vino and regular jug wine--and right now I'm having a little whiskey and water to "settle my tummy".

37. Thank God, yes! Christmas dinner at my place, so we had real food
and no green bean casserole. Though we had some leftover "broccoli and cheese" casserole that my sister made me make yesterday. I don't consider that ruining a good dinner, though, since it was a leftover and not actually made for the Christmas dinner.

:-)

(that said, I kind of do like the green bean casserole, at least when I make it - but then, I use spices, which is a food unit ("spices") that my midwestern family seems not yet to have heard of)

Usually at my mother-in-law's dinners I either get the farts, or worse, diarrhea.

This year, not only was I farting all the way home, but so was my wife and one of my sons.
