Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
4-8 inches tonight in the Boston area, I'm in Lowell, and I'm not sure how much we're going to see out here.

Not a terrible storm, but enough to make the commute tomorrow a real pain in the butt.

Oh well, such is winter in New England :)

1. hello, Massachusetts!
my ancestors moved from there around the time of the Revolution and drifted west. Can't say that they had it much better-20 inches of snow in IL. Hope you have a safe commute tomorrow!

7. We only got an inch in that storm, and it melted the next day
however. this one is going to be a doozy. We have been having squalls off the ocean all day!

11. I know!
It looked like it was going to be a white Christmas, but just yesterday morning, these very same pics would have had a lot more green in them.

BTW, we got a LOT more than an inch out where I am...as is evident in the photos...

My daughter is flying out of Boston in a few hours(I hope) and her flight has been delayed 1 hour already.

9. we got 5 inches here in Arkansas
but there is no snow removal from the roads, so it might as well have been a lot more. I've been stuck at home since Wednesday.

2. We're used to it...
You in New England and me in WI.

It's the people surprised in Texas I'm laughing at when the news shows them spinning out and ending up in the ditch. :-)

3. I used to live in Bakersfield, California, which NEVER gets snow
I mean NEVER. The year after I left, they got 2 inches one day, and it basically shut down the whole town :). They don't own salt trucks, don't own plows, hell nobody even owns snow shovels :).

I guess the town was at a standstill for about 24 hours :).

4. LOL!
That does sound funny.

I have a friend who lives in Chula Vista, (suburb of San Diego,) and it's in the 70's most days.
I love razzing her when it gets below 50. :-)

8. The final snowfall totals won't be a big deal but
the wind will be.

The blowing snow make this worse than the usual 4-8" snowstorm.
