Chicago Bears ripped off by the officials today |
|
Did anyone see the replay?
Sure, it's a battle of 5 and 9 teams, but still.
Bears toss a touchdown pass that would have given them the game, wide receiver catches, one foot in, 2nd foot in, then pushed out of the endzone. Commentators all said it was obviously a touchdown.
Official calls it incomplete. Under 2 minutes, so booth calls a replay. Team celebrates as the replay shown in the statdium and on TV shows an obvious touchdown.
Official comes back and says incomplete pass, he bobbled the ball as he hit the ground. WHAT???? Doesn't matter, he got 2 feet in the endzone with possesion.
Okay, the Bears may suck, but still, they scored and would probably have won, and the official really blew that play big time. Fucking Zebra asshole...

1. The main reason I can't watch the NFL is because of the officiating. |
|
It's awful. It's terrible. There are too many rules and the game moves way too fast for the officials.
Too many penalties. Too many missed calls. Too many rules. I pine for the Golden Era of the NFL which was in the 60's.
Let's face it, if people are gonna watch it because it's a modern version of Gladiators.....then do away with about 50% of the rules.
It's BORRRRRRINGGGGGGG............
