Just for fun I'll give the Readers digest version for the curious (Why anyone would REALLy care I have NO IDEA!):

I was flying up to NC for a class February of 2003 (And to visit my parents and siblings) so I put out a thread seeing if DU'ers in the area wanted to meet for a beer.

Steph replied so I met her, accompanied by my sister and her fiance, and she arrived with a male friend of hers, at an Irish Pub.

As soon as I saw her I was hooked, then we started talking and it was over:-)

I went back a few weeks later to see her, she ended up visiting me in Florida two months later, we were dating and living 650 miles apart.

We got married that August in the County Courthouse.

Then we lived apart for 7 months while I tried to get a job in my field in NC. I finally got one this last March and we FINALLY got to live together.

She rocks. I'm lucky:-)
