Anyone Know How to Remove a Chevy S10 Radio??
My 2002 S10 came with an AM/FM radio. I just bought an AM/FM/CD to replace it. Does anyone know how to get the existing radio out??

just googled "chevrolet car stereo remove"

http://www.carstereohelp.com/strchevrolet.htm

that seems like a pretty useful site, i will probably be using it in the future when i get the time and money to invest in a car stereo system again.

9. Thanks, Everybody
It turns out that the instructions that came with the dash adapter kit include instructions for removing the radio.

I'll be doing this tomorrow morning. I'll post a full report when I'm done.

Writing instructions for other people to follow. It wouldn't seem right for me to disregard the instructions.

14. It pains me to say this, but
I don't believe you because your syntax doesn't seem like it was rendered into English from Japanese by way of successive Babelfish translations into Swahili, Telugu and at least one Athabaskan language.

12. I just installed a CD changer in my Avalanche
Actually, it's Mrs. Ironflange's Avalanche, you know, midlife crisis and all that. :)

I know it's a bit of a far cry from an S-10, but it's worth a try. What I discovered, after rummaging around a bit, was that the whole front trim of the instrument panel popped right off, with just a good pull. Once this was done, it was easy to unscrew the radio and drag it out. Give it a try. If this does work, you're probably going to need an antenna adaptor for it; you can get one anyplace that does car stereo installs.

Good lick!

13. My '02 Ranger has a DIN radio in it...
Get a set of those things that look like loops of co-tanga wire, stick 'em in the holes, engage the catches, and slide that puppy right out....

It wasn't that hard getting the old radio out. The whole job took a little over an hour.
