Sorry I missed it, but I caught you on a subsequent one, and I was welcomed on my very first post, by the incomparable newyawker99, and I remember how much that meant. So I'm so glad that you were welcomed on your first, as well.:-)

You only need to be a donating member to use the search function and post polls, as far as I know. The number of posts necessary to start a thread was increased during the election, but I don't know if that's still in effect. But you can put anyone on ignore that you want, or hit "alert" on insulting disruptors, anytime. I have no one on "ignore," nor do I plan to, and have hit "alert" exactly three times, ever, on DU, when I was absolutely sure that it was a Freeper disruptor. I tend to give most people the benefit of the doubt, even if we disagree, since I'm a liberal, LOL!:D
