A tsunami is a giant, watery explosion |
|
Seriously, a reporter on MSNBC said that a few minutes ago. And the purpose of his report was to explain what a tsunami is. This is what I learn after shunning TV news (and TV in general, for the most part) for two months. I've turned it back off.

Ignorance has reached critical mass in this country - Chimpy was right, we HAVE turned a corner. And we're heading right down the street into a new Dark Ages.

I see this post in GD about the whole world vibrating, so I turn on the TV to find out WTF. And the guy on CNN goes, "But, hey, it's party time." No idea what preceded that. So I turn to MSNBC, and no sooner do I find out what's going on than I hear this idiotic line.
TV is something we do not need. Try turning it off for a month, then turn it back on and see how bizarre it is.
