photographers: Do you enhance or not?
Film or digital; do you usually stick to what you've got, or do you do some digital correction or enhancement (Photoshop can be fun)? Or is any form of enhancement evil?

1. I don't buy into enhancement. I'm big enough to satisfy.
I usually just delete the emails.

2. I typically like to bump the saturation a hair,
play with the levels, the duplicate the layer and switch to soft light and then mess with the opacity.

For example the hardwood floors are warmed up with some enhancement here.

3. Some a little, a few a LOT! The originals are always there.

4. I have a relatively cheap digital..
...and shoot under less than good conditions. Enhancement is a must.

5. film
I tend to stick with what I have in color, mostly because I have yet to figure out how to use Photoshop in any meaningful way. I just try to take better pictures next time. Not very efficient I guess, but I am a bit of a 'purist'.

Black and White film though.... I guess you could say I 'enhance' in the darkroom.

6. Depends upon your interpretation of "Enhancement" -- I might
touch up the gamma, or crop, but that's about it.
