I fought the law and I won.
Ran away from a cop trying to give me speeding ticket.

NOTE: This is not true; I just wanted to copycat HEyHEY's post.

Has anyone here actually done that?

2. I was pulled over last year...
and was about to get a $180 ticket. While the cop was in his cruiser running my plates, somone blasted past at about twice the speed limit, so the cop took off after him. I sat there for a few minutes, expecting the Mountie to return, but he didn't, so I drove off. I passed them both on the side of the road about a mile up, and I slowed down just in case the cop still wanted to give me the ticket. He didn't gesture me to pull over, so I drove on, and I never heard any more about it.

3. We used to do it purposely in my foolish youth
Grew up in rural Vermont so we'd blow by the town cop or sheriff or whatever at about 90 and get him to chase us. Then lose him. Sometimes we'd do it 2 or 3 times in the same night. My girlfriend had a '69 GTO that would top out at about 130 so we always got away. I'm amazed I survived my childhood....

4. I've done it when I THOUGHT I was gonna get something
Like if I coasted througha stop sign and didn't see a cop way at the end of the road. I'll twist through a few roads and make sure I lose him.
