Do you think the human species were meant to hibernate?
Think about it (and from alot of the DU posts I've read lately), we're tired, cranky, gaining weight, depressed....hmmmmm? Wouldn't it be nice just to pull up the ole comforter and snooze til March?

It's just that I'm such a Spring, Summer, Fall human, winter shouldn't just be for snowbirds/aka/those who migrate to Florida every winter:silly:

7. That's what Retirement is all about.
You don't have to leave the house anymore unless a) you want to, b) the groceries are running out.

10. Yes, april thru october
I can handle rain, snow sleet wind, I can not handle heat. All that sun just depresses me too. I always feel like I haven't done enough, need to get out and do more. I try to sleep a lot.

12. Some of us, yes.
I'm an out-and-about person in the spring, summer, and fall, but winter (especially after the holidays) makes me a snuggle-in homebody.
